The Lodge: Lounge, Kitchen, Bedrooms and Garden
Roses Bower Lodge
Roses Bower Lodge is a cosy, two bedroom cottage, with oil-fired central heating. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, washing machine/ drier, microwave, fridge, freezer and an extensive range of kitchen utensils.
The lounge has a comfortable cream leather suite, coffee table with baskets, fold-away dining table and chairs, log-effect electric stove, free-sat television, dvd/video, hi-fi, sideboard, and a games/utilities cupboard (ironing equipment, hoover, brushes etc.)
Tourist information and maps are stored in the sideboard and coffee table baskets, together with a library of books, magazines, dvds, cassettes and videos. The ground floor bedroom has a double bed and single wardrobe.
Upstairs there is the main bedroom, with super king/twin beds with electric blankets and under bed storage, double wardrobeand airing cupboard.
The family bathroom is equipped with an over-bath power shower. We provide Egyptian cotton linen, towels and robes, spare pillows/winter duvets. A cot/linen, child-gate, baby listener and high chair are available on request. Luxury toiletries are provided for your comfort.
A generous welcome pack is provided; milk, butter, tea, coffee (instant and ground), sugar, condiments, cornflakes, marmalade, local bacon and eggs, fruit bowl, kitchen basics (kitchen roll, cling-film, tin-foil, plastic bags etc.), laundry, cleaning and dishwasher consumables, a bottle of wine, a local cake and the local newspaper.
There is a private garden at the front of the Lodge.
Garden furniture and a gas-fired barbecue is available for guest use. A ‘Midgeeater’ operates in the garden area. The water supply is from the farm borehole and is quality tested annually. Waste is discharged to a septic tank. Guests are encouraged to recycle their refuse.
